A friend of mine from England was visiting me in Sendai this weekend. We've done lots of tourist things together! We got on a sightseeing bus and visited many places.Although the weather wasn't very good,we enjoyed looking round the city. She enjoys everything whatever she experience in Japan. For example,Japanese foods, she even had Natto!!!

get a certificate

I have finally received the result of my TOEIC exam(Test of English for International Communication),which I took last month. It was the second time for me,and it's been nearly a year since the last time I take. I don't tell you my score on this blog, but this time is exactly the same as the last time. I am relieved that my english seems still OK(I mean mainly listening),even though I don't study and use english regularly, but at the same time I feel that it wouldn't have been worth taking if it's the same result!
Apart from that, nothing hasn't been happened to me these days. It's snowing again now.And yesterday was snowing, too. And the day before yesterday was snowing...no more snows, please!

beautiful handwork

I went to see the Chinese folk arts exhibition at the Miyagi Museum of Art today, and I was very impressed by all the textile collections made by Chinese minorities in the south of China. Each minority has a different taste of colour, which is a kind of symbol for thier characteristic. Some minorities prefer to use very bright colour, and do very very beautiful delicate embroidery. There are some pictures of minorities beside the collections and they look really interesting to me!
