Aizu trip

A friend of mine from Osaka came to visit me last weekend, and we went on a day trip to Aizu-Wakamatsu by car.

The city itself isn't very big,but there're lots to see and to do! One day wasn't enough to see all the sights...we couldn't go to see the castle.

A picture on the left shows a very famous former temple in Aizu, called Sazaedo, built in 1796.Very interesting architecture.

Hi Sara! Thanks for your comment.
Aizu is a pretty city - lots of old buildings and Tsuruga castle. You'll like it! Also I quite like cafes there - very cosy.
I haven't yet read all the entries on your blog, but I think your description of Japan is truly fair.I've never been to your country, but I can imagine that things are very different from Japan!Hope you keep enjoying the differences bet Japan and the US...
I spent sometime in england before then I studied english there.
